What we Do
Our primary causes
We collaborate with the local authorities to cater for the less privileged and homeless in our immediate surroundings.
FEEDING THE HOMELESS
We feed the homeless in Alperton which involves a dedicated group of volunteers who come together every two weeks to provide meals for those in need. The team typically gathers at a central location and prepares food, often with donations from local businesses or individuals. The meals are then distributed to homeless individuals in the Alperton area, offering them a hot and nutritious meal in a safe and welcoming environment. The goal of this activity is to address the issue of food insecurity among the homeless population and provide support to those who are struggling to meet their basic needs. The activity is usually carried out with compassion and empathy, providing not just food but also a sense of community and belonging to those who may feel isolated and marginalized.
CHRISTMAS HAMPER
The charity activity of giving to the less privileged during the Christmas season is a wonderful way to bring joy and hope to those who are struggling. This activity usually involves collecting donations from individuals, businesses, and other organizations to provide gifts, food, and other necessities to families in need. The gifts are often distributed during the Christmas holiday season, providing a special and memorable experience for those who might otherwise go without.
Volunteers often work together to organize this event, including purchasing, wrapping, and delivering gifts to families, as well as organizing holiday meals and other festivities. This can be a great opportunity for community members to come together and make a difference in the lives of those who are struggling, bringing happiness and a sense of belonging to those who may feel isolated during the holiday season. Overall, the goal of this charity activity is to bring holiday cheer to those in need and help to spread joy and hope during a time that is often associated with love, joy, and giving.
— We Believe
We believe every little helps in our communities
Helping the homeless in our communities is a crucial step towards creating a more compassionate and just society. Homelessness is a complex issue that can arise from a multitude of factors such as job loss, mental illness, addiction, and economic hardship. By lending a hand to those who are homeless, we can help to mitigate some of the challenges they face and provide them with a sense of hope and dignity. This can be done through simple acts of kindness such as donating food, clothing, or money to local shelters, volunteering time to help with services or events, or advocating for more affordable housing and resources for those in need. By working together, we can make a positive impact in the lives of those who are homeless and help to build stronger and more inclusive communities.
