The Helping Hands Foundation is excited to announce their upcoming charity walk on August 26th from Alperton, West London to Elephant and Castle Station. This 11.2-mile walk is being organized to raise funds for a special cause, the distribution of 150 Christmas hampers to the less privileged families in London.
As we all know, the holiday season can be a challenging time for those who are struggling to make ends meet. The Helping Hands Foundation is committed to helping those in need and making a positive impact in the community. This year, they have set a goal to bring some joy to those who are less fortunate by providing them with Christmas hampers filled with food, gifts, and other essentials.
The walk is open to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Participants can walk on their own or in groups. The walk will be followed by a small ceremony where the funds raised will be officially presented to the foundation. The ceremony will be held at Elephant and Castle Station, where participants can join in on the festivities and celebrate their efforts.
In addition to supporting a great cause, the walk is also a great opportunity for people to get active, enjoy the beautiful London scenery, and meet new people. Whether you are an experienced walker or just looking for a fun day out, this event is perfect for everyone.
To participate in the walk, simply sign up online on the Helping Hands Foundation website. The registration is free but you need to pick up and donation cans which must be returned with all funds raised going directly towards the Christmas hamper giveaway. You can also encourage friends and family to support your efforts by sponsoring you for each mile completed.
